Volunteers brainstorm on Sanrokan '06 preps

CONDEMNED AND NEGLECTED. A view from the harbor of Poctoy, Odiongan would give one a good look of the Human Settlement Building, the most imposing structure in town erected atop Kiwkiw Hills in Dapawan. According to the town's folks, several enchanting incidents happened  here since it was vacated.

     Miguel de Loarca, one of the Spanish soldiers who came to the Philippines with Legaspi is supposed to have been the first white man to visit the islands. He wrote of Simara, Banton, Donblon (Romblon) and Osigan (Tablas) in 1582 and estimated that there were about 850 people in these islands at that time.
