Through the efforts of
Mr. Edrayl Domingo, CSO Coordinator and Prof. Rolando C. Forca, CSO
Adviser the Congressional Scholars Organization (CSO) initiated a series
of seminar-workshops.

Employment
Opportunities, Career Trends and Business Writng was held at RSC
Library on November 25 last year. Resource persons were Mr. Norman
Lopez, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Atty. Leah Irao of
the Asian Financial Institute. The seminar aimed to give more knowledge
and awareness in facing the trends of career and job opportunities, and
to familiarize with important matters in writing a pleasing and
presentable business letter.
Environmental
Awareness and Preservation Seminar was held in the month of
October at Food Processing Building. There were three Resource Speakers;
Mr. Shawn Dolan, Mr. Jeremy Goldbatt and Mr. Adam Hanson, US Peace Corps
shared thoughts that enhanced the environmental awareness of individuals
in preserving the beauty and wonders of nature.
Practical
and Basic First Aid Treatment was conducted last January 20.
Dr. Vicente Q. Firmalo served as the Resource Speaker.
Those series of seminars
were attended mostly by scholars, students from different schools and
even teachers. |
