RDL-CLEAR (NPF) has recently received a favorable ruling from the IRS. An excerpt of the opening letter dated October 22, 2003 signed by Lois G. Lerner Director, Exempt Organizations, Rulings and Agreements stated as follows:

"Based on information supplied, and assuming your operations will be as stated in your application for recognition of exemption, we have determined you are exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501 (c) (30)."

The RDL-CLEAR (NPF) Employer Identification Number is: 36-4426218; DLN 17053128000013. To the organization's donors, please take note of this number and keep it for your tax accountant's info when you file your 2003 federal income tax return.

This good news will greatly help RDL-CLEAR (NPF) to maximize its funding campaign initiatives in the coming years. Among the current projects of the organization include: a. Sanrokan 2004 - Los Angeles; b. Romblon Studies Center; Romblon State College; c. Tree planting/coral reef preservation; d. Annual writers/drama workshop; e. Medical mission; f. the Institute of Business and Accountancy mini library; and g. the pc lab of the Romblon State College.
