An RDL Fairy Tale:
3 Queens and a Princess
by Mike Downer (First Gentleman-in-Waiting) ;-)

Once upon a time in January of 2002, Rinzi Fadrilan posted a greeting for Three Kings Day, which started a little discussion. We have two of the kings represented in RDL, in the persons of (Hanni)Bal Ferrera and Melchor Mangoba, not sure about the third king. Darlene putting on her feminist coat suggested we should also have three queens; nominated Delia Famatigan, Ethel Gibson and Minnie Festin-Navato, and bemoaned the fact that she had never been a muse or a queen herself. She demanded to be made Queen of RDL, and this was agreed to for the Sanrokan Dinner of 2002. Since Ethel, Minnie and Darlene could not attend, Delia was the lucky one to receive the award at the dinner. Finally at the Sanrokan Dinner on March 29th 2003, three queens were all present, plus one princess. A pity the fourth queen Minnie was still unable to attend.
