Post-Mutiny Notes and Photos

In the failed mutiny last July 27, 2003 wherein some 326 rogue soldiers and young officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines holed up in the Oakwood Premiere Apartments at the high end commercial district in Makati, a few men stood out who negotiated for an early resolution of the 20-hour crisis. One of them is Secretary Roilo Golez, Director General of the National Security Council and Presidential Advisor on National Security. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo designated him as the overall crisis manager. Incidentally, Secretary Golez traces his roots to Romblon. Here are some scenes from that dramatic event.
