A Breeze From God

By Andrew Rejano

Spits of hot fire rage in my heart
With loud darkness adjacent with fury
A confused puzzle of life missing a part
Waiting for my thunderous final judgement from the rebellious jury
A loss of faith drowns into the dead pool of quiet screams
A flicker of God's life is my lifesaver for infinite salvation
An angel's wing blinds my broken dreams
As variations of Holy Judgement lose thirsted soul restores my hydration
God's angel feather of light falls upon my sorrowful face
Breaks the silent wall, the silent barrier surrounding me
With Solemn waters healing my burns with its spiritual grace
Open my luminous eyes so there is colour everywhere for me to see
I know you, God, will help me in times like these
For it is your will, that it sends that gentle breeze.

Andrew Rejano (15) attends Grade10 at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School in Canada where he is a consistent honour roll. He likes computers, TV, meteorology and astronomy. A year ago, he discovered his talent with poetry and creative writing. He found it a "way to express my mind, thoughts and emotions on what may currently be happening in his life or just when he felt like writing." He also acknowledges this talent as a rare gift from God.

Andrew lives in Ajax, Ontario with his dad Cris and mom Beth and older brothers Tom and Clint.
