"Basta Fadrilan, Maasahan" This was the theme of the most widely attended reunion of the Fadrilans in the Philippines last December 30, 2002. Some 150 persons from Fadrilan families in Metro manila end neighboring towns attended the annual gathering at the residence of Rinzi-Boding Fadrilan in the fast growing southern city of Las Piñas. The out-of-town participants were from Romblon, Palawan, and the two Mindoro provinces. On reunion day, the participants received several e-mail and SMS messages and greetings from Fadrilan families overseas in Australia, Singapore and USA. The participants approved the publication of the Fadrilan family tree. Assigned to work on this project were Felix "Jun" Fadrilan, Ponsiano "Ponsing" Falsado, and Epifanio "Pating" Fadrilan. The group also agreed to hold a grand Fadrilan reunion in Banton in 2004. Rodolfo "Rudy" Fadrilan is chair of the executive committee for the grand meeting. Host of the 2003 Fadrilan reunion is the family of Pating-Julie Fadrilan. Tentative venue is the family residence in Lipa City. /Rinzi Fadrilan
