Romblon Cultural Center Project lays down its groundwork

The Romblon Studies Center for Culture and the Arts is the first project of its kind to be established in the province. It will cover the identification, documentation, collection, conservation, preservation, restoration and exhibition of sites and properties with cultural heritage significance.To be hosted and maintained at the main campus of the Romblon State College in Odiongan, it is also one of the projects presently being funded by RDL-CLEAR. Last January 22, 2004, the proponents held a groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed building. RSC President Idelia Formilleza led the group who witnessed the event. Ish Fabicon, founding director of RDL-CLEAR was guest speaker.
