TOURISM SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Mt. Guiting-Guiting
Magdiwang, Sibuyan Island, Romblon
Named so because of the craggy slopes and peaks of this 2050-meter high mountain. Considered as one of the most beautiful mountains in the country, it is also one of the most formidable to climb. The first successful climb was only in 1982. The mountain also boasts of a relatively well preserved forest vegetation, and feeds a number of good waterfall and rivers.
