Medical Mission Goes to Simara
Photos by Lyndon Fadri and Generoso Dalida

Crossing over rough seas on a stormy day last May 26, 2003 did not stop members of RDL-CLEAR and volunteer medical team from conducting a medical mission in the island of Simara. Nor did the rains and winds stop the people from coming all over to avail of free medical services and medicines. All told, it was a successful affair that calls for a follow up in the future.

A small early morning crowd gathers for the medical mission amid impending bad weather.

The mission was held at the Corcuera Amphitheater in the town's main plaza.

These medicines went a long way.

Time off for a hardworking team with a game of "tong-its". Counterclockwise: Dr. Modesty Lorelei Naidas, Dr. Bernie Lomibao, midwife Irene Labramonte, Ish Fabicon and Lyndon Fadri.
