CHICAGO - Glenbard East High School's POMS squad completed its season by winning a pair of State Championships on March 8th Halftime Illinois State Competition at Loyola University in Chicago. They competed in the Kick and Dance categories in the Large Varsity Division, taking first place in both. Five teams competed in the Kick Routine and eight in the Dance Routine.

The Team performed at all home football games and also at boy's and girls basketball games - all the while getting ready for their competition.

This year's competition routines were choreographed by Seniors Kristina Faigao, Ashley Hogan and Melissa Jardeleza.

Two members of the Team, Kristina and Denise (Junior), are the daughters of Rene (RDL-CLEAR president) and Alice Faigao.
